Little Tecumseh School House Program
The "Little Tecumseh School House" program is a report card reward program for honor roll students and sponsored by local merchants and individuals through the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce.
Each nine week grading period, any Tecumseh School District student in Grades 1-12 with all A's or A's and B's may take a copy of their report card and drop it in the little wooden school house, located next to the Tecumseh Chamber Office in Tecumseh City Hall, between the hours of 8:30a.m. and 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday, for a one week period after the report cards have been given.
Ten report cards are drawn each nine week period. Report cards with all A's receive $25 cash, report cards with A's and B's receive $20 cash. Each nine week period we ask one of our sponsors of the "Little Tecumseh School House" program to take a picture with our lucky winners, which is ran in our local newspaper the Countywide News.
At the end of the school year, we put all the reports cards back in the little wooden school house and draw for a $500 savings bond for one lucky honor roll student.
