Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce Scholarships
Anna Marie Brown and Wendell Hey Scholarships
The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce sponsors a $500 scholarship to both a Tecumseh High School senior girl and boy. Selected students receiva a plaque in recognition of their achievement at the Academic Awards Assembly. At the end of the successful completion of their first semester of college, with at least a 2.0 GPA, a $500 cash award is given.

General guidelines:

Student exhibits academic achievement

Student exhibits exemplary behavior in and around school

Student is active in a campus organization or an extra-curricular activity

Student is active in community activities
Students applying for the Anna Marie Brown and Wendell Hey Scholarships must:

Attach an official transcript or embossed copy from the High School

Complete the Chamber Scholarship application in ink or typewritten

Include endorsement signatures from the High School and Community Service Organization

Attach an essay on one sheet of paper, may be front and back, explaining future career goals, personal expectations and how college work will enhance those goals
Applications are available at the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce Office and at the Tecumseh High School the beginning of February and due back to the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce Office by the end of March.
